Our holiday home is located in the quiet village of Karaincir on the Bodrum Peninsula in Turkey.

The village of Karaincir (Pronounced - “Karanjer” and meaning "Black Fig"), is located in the south western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula. Approximately 45 minutes from the airport.

Karaincir beach is only a 10 minute walk away, with restaurants, bars and sunning jetties. Why not just sit on the balcony and watch the gulets drift in and out of the bay?

The village of Akyarlar is only a 15 minute walk up the main road and has restaurants and bars as well as having it's own beach. There is an excellent taxi service from Akyarlar, the cost to to house is approximately £1.50 and well worth  it if you do not fancy the walk back.

Bodrum town is only 40 minutes away by Dolmush (Local mini bus) and Turgutreis is 20 minutes in the other direction. Turgutreis offers the largest market on the peninsula every Saturday.

The Greek island of Kos is only 7 km away and day trips by ferry are available from Bodrum and Turgutreis.
